We salute the second president of the United States, John Adams. It is well known that Mr Adams was an unwavering patriot, but did you know he was also a defender of justice, even when the matter was unpopular. Following the Boston Massacre, there was no one to defend the accused British soldiers. It was John Adams who stepped up to make sure the soldiers received a fair trial. We are thankful Mr Adams valued justice over popularity.
