Cub Scout Pack 85 Wolves are required to learn how their community has changed over the years. Ed agreed to lead the tour in downtown Lake City yesterday, and talk about the days he sold peanuts and newspapers on the street. During the tour, we stopped by the second location of The Wheeler Agency behind Ruperts Bakery after founding in 1969.
We didn’t take the trophy last night, but we sure had a good time competing with other teams in the Lake City Garden Club Scrabble Tournament to benefit restoration of “The Clubhouse”.
We are proud to support Columbia High School Robotics “Get Smart” team. The science, engineering, mathematics and interpersonal skills that team members are learning will be invaluable resources in the future workforce. Share if you are proud too.
