Rep Elizabeth Porter was guest speaker at Lake City Board Board of Realtors today. Liz updated members on legislative activity important to our area. Most notable was her report on springs protection projects going on at the Lake City spray field. Project should reduce nutrients in the aquifer by 70 percent. Also, legislators took action to offer students who do not plan to attend college a vocational “track”.
