Toxic Roundup this Saturday
Do you have old household chemicals and toxins taking up space in your garage? If you do, label it and bring it to the Toxic Round-up this Saturday at the Columbia County Fair Grounds for safe disposal. The Toxic Roundup is an annual event sponsored by Columbia County Board of Commissioners where disposal of household toxins are free to homeowners. There are numerous reasons for homeowners to safely dispose of old toxic substances like kitchen chemicals, automobile fluids, fertilizers, pesticides, solvents and old paint.
Safe disposal is good for our springs, namely Ichetucknee Springs.
Safe disposal reduces risk of children intaking poison.
Safe disposal may reduce fire risk.
Safe disposal at the Toxic Roundup is free.
