As we age, we all start thinking about what life will be like in our retirement years. Will social security be around? Will there be good healthcare professionals to take care of us? Sometimes when we watch our young people (addicted to texting and other frivolous things), we get worried. Don’t worry. I just returned from an intensive three days of Rotary Youth Leadership camp in Pensacola and can tell you that the future is bright. Our tenth graders excelled at problem solving, taking risks, overcoming fear, team building and other critical skills that will be needed in the coming years. I am encouraged. You can be encouraged also.
