Last night, Pack 85 Tiger Cub Scouts learned how to make a home fire escape plan. They learned how to draw it out, identify key features (such as windows, doors, smoke detectors) and plan the escape route. The cubs also learned the importance of agreeing on a designated meeting place outside the home. After making the plan, they practiced the plan. Important Question: do you have a plan for your family?
The Lake City Florida Fire Department graciously provided useful planning material and children’s workbooks that helped each scout develop a plan.
